Back catalogue of stuff I've made

So to catch up, here is a back catologue of all the things that I've made (and finished) in the past 12 months. Most things have been made by recycling old fabric or stuff you just don't want. The bag came in si super useful so I think I'll make some more of those soon.
Bunny shoulder bag.

Is it a jumper or a basket? Well it was a jumper....

Throwing away those old tins? Fools!
It's amazing what you cna do with a nail, a hammer and an old tin. Yes! candle holder with a theme of your choice!

Some of the objects needed a little guidence so I went on a pottery course to make these babies.

Poor me! I have no potter's wheel to make these at home so I went on a pottery course and these are a couple of things that survived.
Needless to say there are many things I haven't yet finished. They include a scarf, a blanket and a woven basket from old t-shirts...who knows one day they'll get finished and I'll post them on here too...

Things to make you happy

Autumn is here and I've been travelling a bit, teaching a bit and making pillow cases. The  colours on the mountains at the moment are fantastic, so it's hard to not take pictures and feel inspired.

I used a second hand table cloth and some linen.

It started with some sewing and an idea I got from a rock in Tushita, India: SMILE!

A bus trip through autumn landsacapes...

Then a trip to Barcelona....

Walking around Guell
I'm going to put my photos on a slide show to the left so you can see them all and find them on Flickr. Enjoy!

Ya feet's too big!

Long time no see! But this is what I've being doing. I've made some very small shoes for a friend who has had a baby. Made from old recycled jumpers, they are nice and warm.

I embroided them with clovers because the clovers in the Norwegian mountains look soft enough to lay on. mmmm. I just have to make a pair big enough for my feet now.

New toy

I've just got a camera as a gift! It's an old Pentax SLR with some lenses. It's very retro and I've almost forgotten how to use an original film camera.Shame on me!
I'll let you know when I've got some photos from it. I think I just need to change the battery, remember how to use it and I'm away!

Little Monsters to start

To get things started just a little post about some monsters I made from scrap material while in India. I made 3 of them . Heine, Kent, and Tom. All were for a charity project in McLeod Ganj, for a charity called Rogpa. www.rogpa.com which helps single Tibetan mums with childcare. I'm thinking of making some more for gifts.
Here's the rest of them. What do you think? I'll post some more pictures once I start making more. Until then I have to get away from blogging and ask you all to follow and put in your comments. happy following!

The beginning

This is the Dream Diary I made a few years ago. I illustrated some dreams I had using Polaroids and by writing a short piece about each dream. On this entry I illustrated a dream I had whilst in Australia; a dream about walking from the beach to under the ocean where I saw some pandas dancing. This blog is named after that dream. As most of this blog is going to be about stuff that pops into my head and then occasionally materialises into real things, it seemed an appropriate name. Please feel free to comment, join in and peek into my life.
